At Happy Teeth Children’s Dentistry, we offer a range of pediatric dental services including routine cleanings, fluoride treatments, dental sealants, fillings, and early orthodontic evaluations. We also provide care for dental emergencies and focus on preventive care to keep your child's teeth and gums healthy.
We recommend that children have their first dental visit by their first birthday or within six months of the emergence of their first tooth. Early visits help us monitor your child’s oral development and address any concerns early on to promote healthy dental habits.
Dental sealants are thin, protective coatings applied to the chewing surfaces of the back teeth (molars) to prevent cavities. They are especially beneficial for children as they help protect teeth from decay by sealing out plaque and food particles. Sealants are a preventive measure that can significantly reduce the risk of cavities in children.
Signs of dental problems in children can include tooth pain, sensitivity, swollen or bleeding gums, persistent bad breath, and difficulty chewing. If you notice any of these symptoms, schedule an appointment with us for a thorough evaluation to address any issues and maintain your child’s oral health.
Early orthodontic evaluation is typically recommended by age 7 to assess your child’s bite and alignment. This allows us to identify potential issues and plan for appropriate treatments if needed. Early intervention can address problems early and potentially simplify future orthodontic care.
