About us
Eastern Oklahoma Donated Dental Services (EODDS) is a dedicated organization focused on providing essential dental care to individuals in need across eastern Oklahoma. Founded in the spring of 2003 by Pamela Beard, Margeret Lippert, and dentists Dr. Gary Burnidge, Dr. Mike Kincaid, and Dr. Steven Lusk, EODDS was created to address the dental health needs of underserved populations.
Initially serving those aged 65 and older facing financial hardships, EODDS has expanded its reach to include all adults (18+) who lack financial resources such as savings accounts or other means to cover dental expenses. The organization operates across 26 counties in Oklahoma, offering comprehensive restorative dental care through the support of over 350 volunteer dentists.
EODDS provides a wide range of dental services, including exams, x-rays, cleanings, fillings, root canals, extractions, crowns, bridges, dentures, and partials. These services are delivered free of charge at the volunteer dentists’ offices, ensuring patient dignity and privacy. EODDS covers the costs of laboratory work for dental prosthetics like crowns and dentures.
The organization’s ability to offer these vital services relies on generous funding from various sources, including individual donors and funding organizations. EODDS’ mission is made possible through the unwavering support of volunteer dental professionals and contributors, ensuring that Oklahomans in need receive the dental care they deserve.
